 New Italian SBX National Champs

Alberto Schiavon and Raffaella Brutto are the brand new Snowboard Cross Italian National Champions.

Few days ago, on Canazei slope, 31-year-old from Madonna di Campiglio won his first National Title in front of Federico Raimo and Simone Malusà.

The 21-year-old from Sori, Genova, got her hat-trick (after last back-to-back successes in 2007 and 2008) conquering the SBX National crown ahead of Karin Bernardi and Giovanna Costa.

In the last two Snowboard Cross races of the World Cup season in La Molina, Spain, and Chiesa Valmalenco, Italy, Raffaella Brutto had just taken home her best results of her still young career: a sixth and a fourth place (after competing in her first ever big final)
